Luigi grew up in Rome, Italy watching his uncle create genuine dishes for guests, friends and family. He obtained his degree from an esteemed culinary school in Rome, with his families encouragement. Luigi came to Aspen in 1992 after working at several fine eateries throughout the United States. His excellent reputation developed while working as the Executive Chef of Prego Ristorante in Irvine, California. His attention to detail and progressive philosophy regarding food, style and atmosphere have provided success for the restaurants he creates.
